Morning peeps!

It is News Years Eve here today, I have to go to work. I only work until 4pm though so its not too bad.

I am having my family over tomorrow for a roast and the last Christmas!

Off to work in a few, I hope you all have a safe and happy New Years!

Good morning

Have a day off today I'm sure the 3 day weekend will shoot by way too quickly though! Woke up around 8am, read for about 10 minutes, then fell back asleep til 10am. Just got out of a nice warm shower and love not having to do a darn thing today! Might go shopping shortly and use up the coupons I have that expire today. The store is only a mile down the street.

It's supposed to be around 65ºF today. Not doing anything for NYE as far as I know, which is pretty fine with me. Maybe we'll get a pizza if my favorite restaurant is open and relax on the couch.

I have an appt. for my hair since we are going out tonight. It's much warmer today which is great and snow is melting little by little. I will be posting snow pics in another thread. Happy New Year to you too.

Hi all!

We haven't really stopped yet today. We picked up the feral fosters from the vet this morning and they all seem fine. Then we had to go get groceries and pick up a few odds and ends, as well as the ever important alcoholic beverages for this evening!

We plan to just stay close to home though, and may go next door to play some games with my aunt and uncle. Otherwise, it'll be a low key night. Take care everyone!

We both had off today. I cleaned and did laundry, took Jamie for a walk, and read for a bit. Tonight's plans have been cancelled because too many people have been setting off firecrackers and upsetting Jamie, so I don't want to leave him even for a few hours.

Happy New Year's Eve!!

BF and I slept in today, til about 10:30!! It felt so nice.

And, well in the 2 hours since we've been up we haven't done much. Showered, dishes, a bit of tidying up.. saw Mister out back today for the first time in about 2 weeks or so, he looks as good as ever, so I like to think it's true that he has a home and was inside during all the rains.

BF wants to go to Lowe's at some point to get a rake and fruit picker so we can harvest the high up oranges.. I should go to Pep Boys to use a $10 reward card thing that expires today. If it's not busy I might get an oil change. It's about time for that I think. Otherwise I will buy some windshield wipers. Fun times!

I would love to stay home tonight and avoid any crowds or stupid people, but BF wants to go out. Luckily he is hating crowds these days too, so we're going to go out around 10, to Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach. By then the kitchen will be done and dinner crowds should be gone and if it's like last year, we'll actually get a seat at the bar and have a quiet but friendly and beery toast to 2011. And then at some point hope to get a taxi home. The owner said I could leave my car in the parking lot overnight.

Sorry you have to work today, Nat!

Sounds like a good day (mostly!) for everyone. We're just lounging, and I'm posting like crazy, though with 533+ posts needed to get to 3M by GMT-11, I don't think all my posts are going to help someone win tonight. (I'll be long asleep LOL).
