New bed

I bought the boys a new bed tonight b/c they sleep in the sink that has a towel in it. Walter also likes to sit on a folded towel we have sitting on our counter in our master bath. I think I'm going to have to buy another one b/c they won't both sit in it at the same time. I wasn't sure if they would use it or not b/c Nora has never used beds like that, but they started using it right after I put it down. Now there is always one of them in it. lol It's super soft and fuzzy on the outside (it looks sparkly in the pics but it's not) and SOOOO soft on the inside. I want to curl up in it and take a nap!! lol Please ignore my dirty cold air return.

He looks like he is smiling in this one (though in real life he looked really sad)


This one is dark, but I thought it was cute, the only one I got with his eyes open. Dirty little paws.

OMGosh! Those kitties are looking so much better and so content already! They love that bed! That last picture is priceless!

Both Callie & Tumbles LOVE to sleep on towels. It must be something about the texture. We have lots of old towels that we keep on hand just for the kitties and they are on the floor in various places through the house fashioned in semi-circles for them to snuggle in.

Such handsome kitties are Thomas and Walter! And that bed is really nice. Where did you get it?

My cats all love towels. I have many old towels for them. There is a whole shelf in the linen closet for cat towels.

Recently I bought two black bath towels to use to cover their nice window shelves as I don't want the carpet on them soiled. And the black towels looked so nice in the main part of the house and didn't blare out "TOWELS TO COVER CAT SPOTS!" I bought the towels at Target. But they snagged really easily, immediately. There were long strings from them in a day or two, and I caught Claude chewing on these snagged strings.

So I threw them out and bought two more black bath towels at Sears. BUT THE SAME THING HAPPENED! They also snagged easily and were a mess. I never had towels do this before. I don't know what the deal is. Both sets were about $5.50 each marked down from about $9.50. Maybe these are just cheap towels? Does anyone know?

Awww, they match the bed! They really are adorable, and obviously so happy to have their forever home!

I got it at Petsmart. It's really nice b/c the padding in the bottom can be removed and washed, and the bottom of the bed is nylon, so it is wipe-able. None of the other beds we looked at had that, they were all cloth bottomed, so you'd have to wash the whole thing if there was a mess. The pad is reversable also, you can have the "fleecy" white stuff up, or you can have the fuzzy black stuff up. It was only $14 too!!

That's a really nice bed, and judging by the way they're both using it, you need another one. They look so adorable curled up in it!

We went and got another one today. lol A brown one this time.


Plus, I have to add a couple more pictures of Walter enjoying his new bed.




This one is dark and blurry but it was cute. He was looking at Nora.
