Ugh, only one??

Sigh. So, I decided to do something special for my mom after my wedding. I am making her a photo album with pictures of the two of us, from when she was pregnant with me up until the wedding. I want to include, in some way, the lyrics to the Carrie Underwood song "Momma's Song." I know she will love it. I know it will make her cry (happy tears!). The problem? I cannot find pictures of the two of us, just the two of us. I found one of her pregnant with me. One of her holding my brother the day he was born, with me as well...only she is staring down, and her face isn't visible. Ugh! I asked family members if they had any.. Nope! How is it that there are NO pictures of us? Lol, this is just my luck!

I think it is because I was the middle child, haha

There are a couple of pictures of me as a baby, but our family was TERRIBLE about using a camera. There are very few pictures of any of us as kids (I have an older brother and sister). Worse? We're so old, my parents had most of the pictures developed as slides instead of photographs.

Ohh, that sucks!! See, for us.. there are a billion pictures of my elder sister, she was the first. There are tons of pictures of my brother, he is the only boy. There are also plenty of pictures of my baby sister, as she is 8 years younger, so there was time again. I, on the other hand, was born while my elder sister was only about 3, and my brother was born 18 months after that, so there really wasn't time at that point. I think I'm going to have to crop some pictures..lol

There ya go!!!!!!!!!! I'd have to - I can't think of ANY with me and my mom alone together.

I remember one vacation (my dad was a professor and skipped teaching summer school that one year), and we camped from Chicago out to the West Coast and back. We BROUGHT the camera - and left it in the glove compartment of the car. Found it when we got home.

What a nice idea you have, to give your mom a gift like that! I'll join the no-picture club, too, I'm the youngest of 4 and nobody took many pictures of the kids by then. We did have some movies my dad took during our vacations, but those disappeared from my parents' house after my dad went into hospice care. Maybe you could make the album with all of your mom's kids - looks like there's not much choice!

That's a good idea! Angle it more towards how awesome a mom she is in general, lol. There are a TON of pictures of all of us kids, or individual kids with her.

My favorite I have found, has her pregnant with me, and my sister naked, and about two, kissing on her stomach. Adorable!

I am the oldest, and there are very few of us but my mom bailed and my dad is an odd man he doesn't see the need for lots of pictures, and we didn't have any videos of us except one from a birthday party for my sister that someone at the school threw for her. I had a few but they disappeared.
