Question about teeth. Can someone help?

I just noticed that Midnight, my 4 month old kitten, has his adult fang grown in along side his baby fang. His baby fang isn't lose, and doesn't look like it's going to fall out. I know someone else on here had a problem like this a few weeks back. But I don't remember what they did about it. He's going to the vet for a different reason on Sunday, I'll show the vet this, will they pull his baby fang? or will the baby fang eventually fall out on it's own?

Likely the vet will wait a bit longer before pulling... this is just like a human kid some have two sets of teeth at once for a short time

Is he neutered yet? If not and the tooth doesn't come out soon the vet may opt to take care of both at once.

Tails has done both; he's had a baby tooth fall out about a week before the new one came in, and his left adult fang grew in completely before his baby fang came out (just happened the other day). I'd say the adult fang was protruding for almost a week before the other fang popped out.

When I was younger I had a tooth growing over the other one. The dentist advised for me to wiggle it constantly (it was barely loose), and if it wasn't out in a month, he would pull it. I wiggled it out, so I advise you just let it take its course, unless you would like a vet to remove the tooth.

Midnight is neutered.

I'd prefer his baby fang to fall out on it's own. But if it's going to cause a problem for him, then I'd have the vet pull it. Right now it doesn't seem to be bothering him. He just doesn't like us looking at it

Same thing happend to Manytoes, and we called him Manyteeth for awhile....he has both his for about 2 weeks and then one day the "baby" tooth was just gone, no issues. Have the vet look at it because you are already going, but I doubt it will need any attention/pulling.

Ok we just examined Midnight's mouth better. It looks like his bottom fangs are his adult fangs. Both the top baby fangs have the adult fangs right next to them. I checked the baby fangs, and they still aren't lose. He's going to the vet in 2 days. It's just really weird.
