It's official!!

We are officially the parents of Walter and Thomas! The rescue owner came by our house about an hour ago and I gave her the signed adoption agreement, and paid for my babies. She was also so nice and gave me a REALLY nice brand new carrier that they had donated to them. It's bigger than the one they were brought in, big enough to take both of them to the vet together if I need to, or when we move. She didn't have to do that, and I appreciate it so much!

I'm also happy b/c tomorrow it will be a week since they got here and all of my babies are living in harmony. Nora may not be best friends with them (yet) but she leaves them alone now and doesn't even chase them anymore!! So much progress in such a small time! They even all ate together this morning without a problem. The only time she has hissed at them this morning was when Thomas tried to butt in on her eating, which I don't blame her and he needs to learn to leave her alone when she's eating her food. After her initial reaction, I thought for sure this would take months. The boys are starting to relax around her, but are still cautious. I don't blame them. lol I'm so relieved!!

Edit to add: I know this isn't the photo thread, but I had to add a pic of them sitting on my lap together!! I couldn't believe it!!!!!! They weren't touching, there was about a centemeter between them (LOL) but Nora didn't jump down or freak out when Thomas jumped on my lap. I'm almost giddy!!
