Question of the Day Wednesday 12/29/2010

New Year's is upon us. It has been a fast year!

Are you going to any parties? What do you normally do on New Year's Eve?

I usually stay home and I am in bed before midnight. I haven't gone to a party since New Year's 1999.

We'll either be going over to the in-laws for a meal or stay home. We really don't do anything either.

I'll be going to a party held by a friend in another city. Can't stay the whole weekend because I didn't get a catsitter so I'll be back in less than 24hours. Luckily my cats aren't afraid of fireworks, they seem to like them for a while, then get bored. I get to see Tomu's brother (Kuura's son) and his mom again.

Last year we just stayed in at my friend's kitchen with her and her boyfriend, they were moving so there was no room to be anywhere else than the kitchen.

We stay home and play with the dogs and cats. Don't go anywhere. Trying to teach the cats to meow..."Auld Lang Syne".

I have not gone out on NYE in many years but this year I will be going to a Sheraton hotel for a party. It includes a room for the night and breakfast the next morning so that works out well. I am looking forward to it, it will be a nice change.

I'll be going out, I'm just not sure exactly where yet. 3 of my friends are having parties, and my Mom is also having her retirement party on New Years Eve.

We usually just stay at home. We went to a party with my sister and her friends last year and it ended badly.

No parties this year. If we do anything besides sit on the couch, we might burn some wood out in the yard and spend time with the in-laws.

Last year we had a mini-party at the in-laws house: me, hubby's cousin, and BIL were in the hot tub ... one way to get drunk quick I was MISERABLE all day the next day, so I'm not even considering that again. Took me 3 months to be able to stomach the thought of a fruity drink, just because it had alcohol.

The year before we spent it quietly. Seems we alternate what we do!

We're supposed to go to my in-laws', but will be home before the fireworks start. I usually have to sit behind the sofa with Jamie once they do.

We usually stay at home. My son has to be at horseback riding practice at 7 a.m. on New Year's Day, so I think I will turn in early!

I usually party but I have no idea what NYE has in store for me this year. I'll probably go out for a few drinks, but I'm doing lots of hours leading up to NYE so I'll probably be pooped. Um DVD and a bag of chips!
