Since I got recruited to make stockings for some family members I figured I would take creative license with the one for the kitty. So I made this

I love it and Im going to make some for my motley crew. I dont really know how big it is because I didnt measure it after it was done and I gave it to them but its over a foot long. It has a pocket to put stuff in but it is where the white line is below the head/face of the fishy.

Now the point of me posting this. Ive been getting bugged poked prodded and harrassed by various family members telling me I NEED to sell these for next years holidays. I already planned on making a dog bone shaped stocking for Franklin but they want me to add that as a seller once I get the 'prototype' done. I want to know what you guys think. I personally would like to try and sell stuff but at the same time I dont want to because I worry it would take the willy nilly enjoyment I have out of crocheting things. But at the same time I would like to make a little pin money to keep myself in yarn.

So yes or no...are my little fishy stockings worth even trying to sell?

I think he's very cute. I put a baby blanket on the edge of the bed and Daisy loves to lay on it. She knows its hers. She would probably love to lay on a fish stocking, too, after she got the treats out of it.

You could even make little toys to go inside the stockings such as balls, small mice, small fish, or even curly toys kitties could bat around.

That is so cute!!! And Sillyitaliangirl (Danielle) could teach you to crochet a catnip llama to put in it!

Ill have to work up a price on it. I know it only takes a couple hours to work up.

I thought about the toys to put inside to kinda make stockings prepackaged like they sell at walmart or petsmart.

I wouldn't post on Etsy. If anything id probably just post a thread in our members marketplace with a price and just have people contact me via pm.
