Morning peeps!

I am back to work today, but only a 3 day work week so that's not too bad. Also we get to wear jeans all week!

We had three Christmases so far and the 4th is on the 1st when my parents come over with my brother. I a going to make a roast.

Got up early today to (s)hovel snow, went out for a bit with Jamie, and am now trying to muster the energy to mark a stack of tests.

I'm not sure what in doing today I know blaines still off and we are doing something not sure what I'm thinking I fancy a movie afternoon I'm all shopped out after yesterday....I started my Christmas shopping

Morning everyone!

My right hand is KILLING me... I had to vaccinate the 3 feral foster girls yesterday and Jasmine clawed me a couple times. Nothing is too bad or deep but the hand is a little swollen and my first 2 knuckles are REALLY painful.

Not much going on today. I'm working from home, but this time of year there really isn't much work to do, so I'll probably look for more books for my Kobo. Then we'll be watching the Canada/Norway World Jr. hockey game later.

Morning everyone!

Im uploading some pics to post in the SS Gift thread. My kitties are still nipped out and they dont seem to be letting up any time soon. LOL.

Just a bit of cleaning today to catch up from not being home almost all weekend and finally working up the ripple blanket that I finally found a pattern for that actually works. I went thru 3 diff patterns only to find out they were all goofy or not written properly. This blankie is going to be for the living room but it coordinates the browns from the living room with the green I plan on painting the kitchen. Its gonna be nice once its all done.

Well I'm just about to hop into bed. I've got an early start in the morning - a few loads of washing to do. Then a 12 hour shift *sigh* and then home to do more chores.

Happy Hump Day (for me, it's Friday! )

Today is my last day at work for the week....and the year! DH has been off work all week and will go back in tomorrow (Thursday), then he and I are both off on Friday. That will give me tomorrow home alone, so I can get some housecleaning done.

And we are going to start a veritable heat wave around here! Temps are to be in the mid-to-upper 40s, starting today and lasting until Sunday. Even with showers (showers, not snow!), life will be good.

Off for a few groceries tonight and to the mall. Zales has a couple pairs of earrings that I've had my eye on and, with the sales right now, they're both a good deal.

Wow, can't believe its nearly New Year already, I am just enjoying chilling and really not doing muchI will be really busy when dh goes back to work and the kids o back to school though, so much tidying to do, my house just doesn't seem to stay tidy with everyone in it x

I've been on vacation all week and really enjoying it It's been nice spending extra time with my son (who is 1), and we've been playing with all of his new toys he got for Christmas I hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon

Killing time at work, as I've been done since 11:45am It took me 3 hours to do a bunch of work .. need to pace myself!

It's about 52ºF out today, supposed to warm up to 70 by New Year's Day Wish the weather would make up it's darn mind!!

My friend canceled on working out tonight, her best friend's mom is in the hospital (battling cancer for 20 yrs), so I'll be going home and hanging out with the kitties. Maybe hopping on the treadmill since I have nothing else to do.

Hope everyone has a great day. Can't wait for tomorrow... it's "Friday" at work!

Morning.. afternoon in a few minutes!

Rain started in the middle of the night, and is about done now I think. So... that's going to probably make it about 10 inches of rain for December! That's about as much as we usually get in a whole year!

Anyway, so it's wet out and I want to stay inside. I think I will. I should get to the bank to deposit some checks though... we'll see. No other plans really for the day. I might make a soup for dinner tonight. I'll ask BF if he wants some. Seems like it will be a good soup day to me.

Well my sister left this morning at 5:30 to drive back-she is still driving and has about 4 hours to go.

House in a bit of disarray and DH took day off and went cross country skiing with some nephews and isn't home yet-probably at his sisters house so I'm relaxing too with some wine and leftovers!

Worked today we were busy most likely since we are going to have odd weather with freezing rain/rain/fog then in the wee hours of Sat snow. Tried to scrape some icy .snow stuff off of driveway and it wasn't working so I stopped.
