Hello guys!

I hope you all had a great Xmas =)

I am currently feeding my kids 50% Kirkland with 50% taste of the Wild or Blue Buffalo Blend. Do you guys think Kirkland is best than Authority? or which one would you recommend? Any recommendations on the grain free stuff?

Also, I feed them 2.5 oz of wet in the morning and 2.5 at night and I have the dry in a small bowl for them throughout the day.

The wet food I currently feed is the friskies (chicken, chicken & tuna, beef, beef & salmon, turkey) in fillet form or meaty pieces.

Do you guys think I should keep feeding them this wet type (friskies) or go to wet Authority? If I go to Authority, Science or , I would probably just feed them 2.5 oz a day because its pricier and at my current financial state I couldn't afford more.

So do you guys think 2.5 oz am & 2.5 oz pm (FRISKIES) or

2.5 oz am or pm (AUTHORITY, SCIENCE)

Thanks in advance,

Eddie

If your kitties are doing well with the current feeding situation, I wouldn't change anything. Except maybe try to work a better-quality canned food in now and then (once a week?). I do think that Kirkland dry is slightly better than Authority dry.

If you find the right ones, the Friskies foods aren't really bad. The first six ingredients on the beef shavory shreds I just gave my cats this morning are: water, liver, chicken, beef, wheat gluten, ocean fish. After that it's just vitamins and minerals. I've seen much worse in the "better-quality" foods before. Of course, not all of them are like that so you have to read the labels, but they shouldn't all be completely written off.

Oh I know Friskies isn't too bad. But adding in a can or 2 of Authority canned every week wouldn't cost too much, and it does have some better ingredients.
