Post your Camouflage Kitties here

How many times have you search the house from top to bottom looking for a cat, and when you finally find her, she's been right in front of you the whole time? My kitties are very good at camouflage.

Can you see me now?

I've been right here the whole time

You can't see me. I'm a log.

Post pictures of your camo kitties here.

Those are great! I especially love the 'log'.

This a from a while ago, and I don't know why the computer chair wasn't at the computer desk, but I was kneeling at the computer, and Genever decided to 'hide' on the back of my calves!!

What? You can't see me!!

Since we put the tree up in early December, we have a hard time finding her too, and she's always under the tree!

Even on xmas morning, sitting in front of the tree waiting to open presents, BF and I were calling and calling, didn't know where she was. Then I finally looked under the tree and behind the presents, and there she was. Duh..

Yeah, and they just look at you like "Well, where have you been?"
Yep!

I don't have a pic of it, but the other place I lose Genever is on the top of the back of the couch. There's usually a blanket kind of draped over the back of the couch (when I'm actually not using it and remember to fold it and put it up nicely...), and she gets up there and makes a sort of nest, and I never see her, even though it's pretty much smack dab in the middle of the room!

Yeah, but you wouldn't believe how many times I've gone looking for them under the bed or in the closet when they were just hanging out on the couch.

Your cats are cute Lynxx used to blend when he slept on my leopard colored comforter!

Miss Topaz on my fleecy kitty throw.

That is one of the funnier pictures I've seen posted!

Snowy my best buddy that crossed the bridge 2 years ago.Blending in.

CC in her curtain of surprise.

We don't have blankets or furniture that lends to the "camo kitty" effect, but I LOVE these pictures!

I've had several near-heart-attacks wondering if Tuxedo or Flowerbelle got out - but they were hiding, and NOT right in front of me.

Jan, that picture of Topaz on the kitty blanket always gets me!

Not black & white ones!

Do you sit on them much?

Isis loves sleeping on DH's blanket, but it makes it hard to find her sometimes!

I love these pictures, I had a time finding Aristotle! Smudge and Clyde are so big they don't blend in much, but I often lose Nadette, and I'm really not sure where her secret hiding place is. But it's always behind me, LOL!

You're right. Black & White/Blue & White is a little more visible. And no, I don't usually sit on them more than once.

You mean this basket?

I had to go back and look at the original picture. I have a feeling Marina doesn't ever "lose" any of her cats right in front of her!

Yes, that is the one! What a gorgeous looking basket indeed

I do Laurie, that is why I look closely at all baskets Chloe used to hide in them when she was little. As a matter of fact we have a habbit of "counting paws" before we leave the house, just to make sure everyone is accounted for...

Ahhhhhh - experiential learning.

I don't have a pic of it, but a few years ago, I searched all over my house, an under the bed, behind the couch, opening drawers kind of search, for an orange tabby I had named Hermes. I found him in asleep in a box of artificial autumn leaves! I had even looked in the box and totally missed him

Brilliant pics and stories I don't think I have any like it

Me, too. I didn't even realize Goldy was in the picture.

Great photos! One advantage of a black and white cat is he doesn't blend in anywhere.

I don't know about that. Take a look at LoveWhiskers' black & white kitty.
