Same here. Supposedly it's bad luck to keep them up past Twelfth Night, but the main reason is that more than a week or two would just be too much.

Usually sometime between New Years and the middle of January. We don't put our tree or any decorations up until Christmas Eve, though.

I don't put up any decorations. Just because I don't have the patience to keep putting them back up if you know what I mean.
But Mum has some up and I'd say she will probably take them down this week.

We'll probably take them down on 2nd Jan as I like them up over New Year, I hate taking them down though the house seems so bare for ages. x

January 1st my decorations get put away, I can hear Hattie climbing the tree now - I think she'll be sad to see it go

I'll put them away after New Year's too. I go through my containers and purge ones I haven't used in a couple of years so I can make room for new stuff!

Since we're having people in on January 1st for dinner and cards, we'll probably wait and take our decorations down on Sunday, January 2nd this year. Most times, though, it's on Jan 1.

And our house will look gigantic when everything is put away for another year! You don't realize how much space Christmas decorations take up until everything is back to normal.

We'll probably take them down this weekend. We only have to take the tree down pretty much.

Over the river and through the woods...
Whenever we get around to it!
We usually leave it up until after the Epiphany, but we are both such procrastinators that it's not unusual wait until the end of Jan. I love putting them up, but I HATE taking them down. It's so depressing.

Normally we take everything down New Year's day, or the day after. This year the tree came down a week before Christmas, and our window decorations came down yesterday. The only thing still up is the HAPPY NEW YEAR sign on our door.

We didn't decorate this year, but had we done so, we'd be taking them down around Epiphany.

I took everything down today. We have heavy rain coming so I decided to take the outside light off and thought what the heck I take the tree down too.

I am so tired that at first I read the title of this thread as "no more questions...."

We don't decorate, however I keep out a few Christmas things that friends have given me all year round. It's nice to see them there in the kitchen in the middle of summer and think about Christmas.
