Even though he fully admits that Nora is "his" cat, he still claims that he does not like cats. Tonight, he and I were sitting on the sofa watching tv and Thomas was standing on my lap getting pets. He decided that he wanted pets from DH, so he went over there and the very second DH bent his arm Thomas laid his head in it and went to sleep. LOL Even though he says he doesn't like cats, he definitely has this way with them and they all end up loving him. Thomas still hasn't slept in my lap yet, and has only even laid in my lap once for about two seconds. lol I thought it was SO cute!

I had to snap some pics. Sorry they are just cell phone snaps, so not great quality.

Oh yeah, I can see how he just "allows" Thomas to lay on his arm, especially in that last picture.

Nope, your DH isn't a cat person! Not at all! Uh-uh! These are great pictures, Kara! And that last picture says it all about your DH! Thomas is a beautiful boy.

How fantastic!! It looks like Thomas is even kneading in a couple of those pictures. So glad your DH isn't a cat person yet still "tolerates" them!

I know!! Thomas certainly made himself right at home! LMAO Walter is the same now, too. Went from not coming out of his carrier for a day and a half, to acting like he owns the place. haha I'm glad, but surprised they settled so quickly as this is their 5th home (3 foster homes before coming here) in their short 7 months. They probably know it's their forever home.

Alright, I believe there is a bit of clearing up to do here. My good name and reputation have been besmirched with those slanderous words spoken by my...wife...that I am a cat person. I feel the only way to regain some of my lost honor is to emphatically deny this "cat whisperer" myth. Just because I am nice to said cats and try my best to help them feel safe and comfortable in out house does not make me a cat person. I try not to like/dislike any person/animal/food/etc because of the category, color, race, sex, etc they are. I take most everything on a case by case basis. The two new fur balls are still on probation with me.

Now that we have that cleared up, I do like Nora. She is friendly and actually acts like she enjoys human company. She does not pee or poop outside of her litter box and does not tear our house up. She also does not scratch or bite unless provoked so all in all she makes a descent roommate and makes Kara happy. I personally think she is funny and enjoy "talking" with her and there is quite a stress relief I get from petting her.

Now, back to work and to plan my diabolical revenge that I will unleash on Kara at a time she least expects it. So far I am thinking...

1. 5 gallon bucket of ice water over the shower door.
2. Some Icy Hot in the panties.
3. Tying her hair in knots in her sleep.
4. Laxative in her coffee.
5. Cooking with nothing but celery for a week.


Man, I am liking this list already\t
