How long is a can of cat food good in the fridge? I only used 1/2 the can and want to save it as treats for the cats. I have it in the original can, which is now opened though so I put it in a ziploc baggie. How long will it stay ok in the fridge?

the best thing you can do is check it every day... I've found that if I use 1/2 a can once a week (every wed. actualy
) it should be fine... just make sure to seal it good and refridgerate it good too.

Ok thanks! I think we will finish the can up tonight then. Morgan really liked it but Abby wasnt too thrilled about it. Sniffed her nose at it like it wasnt good enough for her Princess-ness
She did eat some, but only after watching Morgan pig out on it a while.
Im trying different kinds to see what they like. Id like to give them wet food as a treat, 1 can a week splitting it in 1/2.

Maybe try those little tiny cans? That way you wont waste any!

Thats a great idea! I was surprised at how tiny they are. Years ago I used to work at Petco and often thought the little teeny cat cans were sooo cute, I wished I had a cat to buy it for
Isnt that silly? I plan to make a nice big trip to Petco one of these days to totally spoil these cats
