Kinda sad, kinda happy story

This little drama took place right around the corner from my house. The one thing good about Jacksonville, there seems to be a lot of cat lovers.

How sad!

What a wonderful lady, jumping in there to try and save the kitty. Very saddening that he didn't make it But that's wonderful so many people had shown up to show support and make calls to try and save him even before she jumped in!

Poor baby, but a big hand for the people who tried to help.

I cried hearing about the kitten in the water.

It is great to see that there are awesome people who help out the little critters.

Oh, this is making me cry - but God bless the people who tried to help the kitten, and may this be the start of some good things - maybe a restructuring of the animal care and control, a low cost neutering clinic, and the opening of minds, and hearts, to the needs of animals.

The link doesn't work anymore, so I can't read the story. Just takes me to page that says the site is closed for Sunday.
