Francois brought a friend for a visit!


The Llamas broke out of the pen today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As we headed out, this is what we saw this morning:

That's hilarious!! I had a llama and she was naughty like them and would always escape. Our neighbors 3 miles away would say "hey your llama was at my pond again today." We would say "I don't think so she's in the pen right now." It wasn't till months later that we found out that dang llama would get back in the pen!!!
Silly things.

Seriously, I don't know what I would do if I drove down our dirt road and found llamas just wandering around. How hard are they to herd back to their pen?

Awww I love alpacas!


Are the ears long and banana shaped? Or are they short? Llamas have long, banana shaped ears while alpacas have shorter, straighter ears.


You should see them when they are babies - so freakin' adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These two are tame, so it's not a problem.

Actually, the white one ("Francois"
) is a Llama, but his friend is an Alpaca.
