Here it is Christmas Eve and I still haven't purchased anything for my adult 41 yr old daughter who has everything. Problem is she has a well paying job and will buy for herself what she wants and needs. Hubs and I are living on social security and are not so well off.

Anyone have suggestions?

I like this idea. If she really has everything, why not make her something homemade/baked? Nothing like mom's homemade cookies or food!
It will also help keep you from having to spend an extravagant amount of money.

Does she expect anything? I think some home made cookies would be great.

Or if she's really with work, maybe you can give her "vouchers" for some meals you can cook and deliver over the year?

I think what may mean the most to her is something home made. Why not go get a cheap scrap book, and make her a scrap book of all of her favorite recipes you have made her int he past and include something baked?

I know a lot of people don't like giving gift cards, but gift cards are really good because than the person buys what they want/need.

Home baked cookies sounds like a good idea. If your daughter is well off and has everything then she will appreciate cookies. I tell my parents not to get me anything on Christmas. I emphasize on the fact that there is nothing I need therefore I do not want them spending money on me.

For one adult granddaughter I got some scarves and included directions on different ways to wear them.

For another adult granddaughter I bought a black long sleeve jersey and stitched about 2 dozen buttons right under the neck band. Sewed them on individually, with shimmery ivory in the middle, shading out to gray, finishing at each end.

OK, I just got inspired from all the cookie suggestions. She loves Food Network and she loves to bake. I know she doesn't have a cookie press! This is something I can see her using along with my 10 yr old granddaughter. Now, what brand??? Bed, Bath & Beyond has a Wilton and a Cuisinart. Anyone have a favorite?

I have always been told wilton is the best quality bakeware for the $$$... Cuisinart google for reviews some is awesome and some just aint worth it

Is she a single mom? what about the gift of time... Offer to make dinner one night a month
