Happy Christmas Eve all!

We're off from work today so we got to sleep in until Imhotep decided we had slept long enough. Now we're just going to relax for the day until going to Mom's for dinner this evening. I am SO nervous about it, and I really don't know what to think, but we'll see.

Take care everyone! Hope Santa finds you all!

Merry Christmas!

The roast is in the oven, the noodles are made, and our company will be here in about an hour. Just have to make the salads, set the table, warm up the noodles and make gravy. The gifts are wrapped and under the tree. And it's snowing like crazy.

Got wrapping to do when we get home, thats bout it.

Nothing planned today, and just the 3 of us opening gifts in the morning, then the rest once my other DD gets home in the evening.

Stay safe folks.

Off to the big city today - a cousin is doing dinner tonight so mooching a ride with Rob and his wife, no sense in taking two vehicles since we live sorta next door, only half mile apart.......AND i don't drive at night now. I just have to put stuff in gift bags, and tag them, grab dessert and be ready when they come. Really happy it is casual, jeans and clean shirt does the trick.

Merry Christmas to all

Good morning!

Spent the morning sleeping in, hubby decided to take today off so we could spend time together before venturing to my parents' house later. Originally he was supposed to work, but the perks of owning your own business and getting the work done sooner means a day off We didn't drag our butts out of bed til 10:15ish.

We're supposed to do Christmas today with his parents, before his brother heads to work. A woman neither of us like is over there right now, ugh I've been fine not seeing her in the last year! His parents wanted to do Xmas on Sunday, but since we wont be back until about 7-8pm, he prefers to do it this afternoon with them, before we go to my parents' house.

Gotta go out and buy a gift bag to put 2 jars of bleu cheese dressing and a wedge of the cheese in. I'm so not wrapping it Got 2 bags of gifts to bring, and will be at my parents' around 7pm tonight. Pizza for dinner, yum.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and safe travels!

I am hoping I can find all the presents I have hid. I always miss a couple of them.

I hope you come back tomorrow telling us what a good time you had and everyone treated you with love or at least respect. Hopefully you will have fun.

Happy Christmas Eve! Bright and Sunny here, what a novelty!

BF and I stayed up late watching DVDs last night, so I slept til 10! Then I woke him up around 10:30 with the coffee grinder.

He just left to go finish some shopping and pick up some beers. I need to finish wrapping a few things so I should get that done now while he's out. I think I'll give Genever one of her presents early- sardines. She hasn't been eating as much the past 2 days, and I think a sardine might help.

Nothing else planned for the day I don't think. The ground is still too soggy to even do any gardening, which would be nice, as the yard and garden is kind of a mess from the past week of rain.

I wish all of you a great xmas with or without friends or family, whichever makes you feel at peace.

Well, it's technically Christmas Day now, so Merry Christmas Everyone! I'm still up cooking, so I'll celebrate when I go to bed and wake up

For Christmas Eve I spent the day cooking and getting the place ready to host tomorrow. Jack and I went to the Christmas Eve service at church with his family (hymns, communion, candlelight- soo pretty!), and then we celebrated at his grandparents house.

After we got back home Jack got a little domesticated and helped with some of the work. He's asleep now though so I'm still cooking (taking a break) I still need to wrap the last few presents though
