Thought I'd introduce myself. . .

Hi Everyone
I found this forum when I was recently mourning the loss of my beloved kitty, "George" on 7/19. I think this site is wonderful. I have found inspiration and healing messages in the Rainbow Crossing section and enjoy reading about other cat fanatics (so happy I'm not alone).

I have another cat that is still with me. . . . "Molly". She's a sweetie too. . . . 11 years old. . . . had her since she was a wee kitten.

I will post some pics when my computer is back up and running normally (our C drive crashed and we are running off of another drive).

Welcome to the site Laurie! I'm so sorry to hear of George's passing.

You are definitely not alone in the cat fanatic department. All of us regulars here are, and it is nice to be able to talk at great length about our little furry loves and not get that "It's just a cat" thing.

I am sorry that you recently lost George and glad that you found such good support on the site.

I hope you come to enjoy it as much as I have in the short time that I have been here.

So sorry to hear of your loss, perhaps he will return to you in another kitten.

Hello and Welcome!

I'm a newbie here as well and I know what you are going through with the loss of George!

My Shadow died on May 1, 2003 and now he's playing with the other cats at Rainbow Bridge and I know that he's happy! You will find that everyone here can cheer you up in almost no time flat. It's a wonderful site and I love it!

It gets easier with time, but I still find myself getting very teary eyed thinking about him.
