What's your favorite late night snack?
Mine are

left over Chinese food, toast, and a cookie.

Pizza.....I'll eat pizza any time. Hot or cold. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack. Give me a slice of pizza and I'm a happy camper.

Pizza, or leftover rice from Japanese hibachi dinners.

I also enjoy popcorn if I'm watching a movie at night

Right now, peanut butter on saltine crackers. And always, Raisinets chilled to the perfect temperature.

I don't snack at night. It's really not good for anyone to do that, even worse if you have any problems with GERD. Due to that and other GI issues I won't touch food after 7pm.

I actually don't snack much at all, tbh, and if I do my sort of snacks are odd things like crackers or dry cereal - for when I want something crunchy. (chips don't work since I can barely eat them without getting sick)

Yep, I think we all know late night eating/snacking is bad for us, and I'm well aware of it when I open the fridge or snack cupboard at midnite... pretty much everything else we do or consume can be bad too, even water in high amounts is bad. But we only live once, right?

So...... if I feel the need to shove something in my mouth late in the evening, I, too, love even a bite of pizza, if we happen to have some. Otherwise, whatever salty snacks we might have. And if we don't have any, then a pickle or a piece of cheese works. Protein before bed is supposed to help you get to sleep!

And, uh, last night at about 11PM I made myself a sandwich with veggie bacon, vegan mayo, and lettuce on whole wheat sprouted barley bread. At least the bread was healthy and low-cal!

That's what snacking for earlier in the day is for.
It's not living when you're laying awake at 4 am wishing you were dead.
