I bet everyone loves these! Did a little searching, couldn't find anything that necessarily made me feel better, so i'll chase everyone's input if you don't mind.

About a month ago, we picked up a new little booger, a black and silver Himalayan, female this time! She was fed Fancy Feast (Tuna and Gravy), half a can in the morning, half a can in the evening and some low-end hard food to fulfill her random hunger. She loves the Fancy Feast, shes always up and perky to eat her Fancy Feast every morning and evening, so I really did not want to take that from her. We migrated her to Wellness for her hard food, which she seems to gobble up without a problem. She's been migrated to Wellness for about 2 weeks, but she still continues to have gas and soft stool.

My question is; is the gas and soft stool acceptable? Will it works its way out?

When we first brought her home, her stool was hard, but we started migrating her to Wellness ASAP, which i'd imagine is the cause of the soft stool/gas.

Thanks!

She had no gas prior to the wellness?

How long have you had her?

Has she seen a vet?

I can't say she didn't, because we started changing her over to Wellness immediately. She came with all of her paperwork for all of her shots, vet visits and neutering; considering its the Holidays, i've been working a hectic retail schedule, and my Girlfriend has been too, so we haven't had the time to get over to the Vet, but have an appointment set for the beginning of January - unless its really urgent.

She plays, eats, drinks and uses the litter box without any issues. Just randomly sometimes she leaves a potent gas cloud when playing.

Roughly, we've had her about 3-4 weeks.

Take away the wellness and return her to whatever dry she was on and see if that is the case

If she came from a shelter most give a free vet check( some have a short time frame like 3 days)

Wellness has been known to cause some gas problems in some cats. Try switching over to a comparable food, taste of the wild, chicken soup, etc
