Nothing beats a tree with cat toys on it as far as Jamie is concerned. These shots were taken about 15 minutes before he toppled the tree, which is nothing unusual around here:

I'm not Christian, so I don't celebrate Christmas.. but I cannot IMAGINE what my boys would do if I brought a live tree into the house... I think they would destroy it.

That's why we no longer get a live tree or use breakable ornaments. Last year he wrecked the umpteenth string of lights, so I found some wireless ones that'll hopefully hold up.

that's so cute!!! Luna is always climbing around in our tree
It's a real tree and we tried a different species this year and thank heavens she doesn't come out with sap all over her this year! Sap is a terrible mess on a cat!

He definitely looks like he's plotting! Smudge loves lying under the tree. He thinks it's just for him. And since we put presents under there, he's taken to opening them to make room for himself!

Cute pics!

Tell Jaime that Gracie admires a boy kitty who's man enough to topple a tree.

It is good that he allowed you 15 minutes of tree enjoyment. I didn't dare this year with the kittens. They've been getting into enough of everything else. Maybe next year.

At least he gave the tree 15 minutes of peace first. Luna and Midnight tortured our tree, and we wound up having to take it down. We only had 1 more week until Christmas.
