Tex was at it again!! Opened the front door to go out and shoo a squirrel away from the bird feeder he was hogging and..... VOOOOOOOMMMMM!!! Couldn't stop him. Out the front door. Took off after the squirrel. We went to the stand of trees where kitty was hiding... calling and coaxing, but he wouldn't come out... Then.....

HE CLIMBED A TREE! AARRGGGHHH!!!!! About a 30 foot spruce!!! Went about 20 ft UP!! Well, we gave up and went inside. Maybe 15 min later he was on the front porch, asking to come in. Geez!!!!! Give Meowmy a heart attack whydontcha!!??? At least he knows where "home" is.

He reeked of pine... the other cats had to have a good sniff!

kitty air freshner:S

Two of my newer ones started that they were allowed in out at will(not fixed to boot) problem is neither is to smart and goes to one house and try to get in(then again its same model as ours so...)

One has pulled the screen out to leave the other follows. Its the excitment cause once they make a break if ignored they come right back.

I'm so glad that he made it back inside, no worse for wear....other than smelling rather pinefresh!

After he circled the room and nose-touched the other cats, he went right over to the vent and put his butt down to warm up!!! While he groomed the pine-scent OFF!! LOL!

So you've got yourself a runner, huh?
Speck has ran out a couple of times but he doesn't have a specific plan. He'll hesitate, not knowing which way he wants to go, and then we'll grab him. Daisy lived the life of a stray and wants no part of the outside except to watch birds through the window. I'm glad Tex is safely inside and no harm was done, except for giving Meowmy quite a scare.
