Thanks everyone.

I'm afraid that Lears may not last me 'till the end of the year. he's getting progressively worse on a daily basis. Looks like his other rear leg is is losing feeling too. Yet, as soon as I touch him, or even look at him he begins purring. It's breaking my heart

I am SO sorry, this is such sad news!

My thoughts are with you and Lears.

I am so sorry - I can't imagine how much pain you're in right now - it must be the cost of loving and being loved. I will keep you and your babies in my thoughts, and wish you strength as you love them for as many days as you have together.

We're taking him to the vet tomorrow, he's telling me it's time.

now his other back leg is hardly working, he almost can't walk, it breaks my heart to see him like that. He doesn't look like a happy cat anymore.

this is going to be so tough.

So sorry to hear about your babies. I know what its like to see a kitty slip away due to leukemia. Poor Lears.

ps. by where in miami are you?

I'm so sorry. It's so painfully heartbreaking.

He's so lucky to have you to love and care for him now. And he knows it.

Did it today. I know that my little "Purry Pappi" is somewhere better now, but I still miss him dearly. He was such a special kitty. I hope that for the 6 month I had him, out of the 8 months of his extremely short life, I gave him the best & loving home he could of had.

BMW, I'm in Kendall. You?

I'm just now catching up with this thread. I was so hoping for a happy ending. Lears had to know he was loved and you gave him the best life possible, as short as it was.

It is a terrible gift but one we make because of our love for them. Lears is free and you have taken on the pain of his loss. I'm so sorry. Condolences for the sadness you are dealing with.
