Anyone near Spokane, WA?

My mum sent a package for my birthday (from Australia), that arrived in Los Angeles on the 11th, was just outside LA on the 13th, then as of the 16th was in Spokane, Washington where it's been since! I'm near San Francisco! They seem to have bypassed me for some silly reason...

What's the weather like in Spokane at the moment? Is it snowed in? Is my present going to be stuck there until summer?

Ummm - how in the world did the USPS manage that? Or any postal service, for that matter? Sometimes I wonder if the tracking is way off. I was tracking two packages here. One was supposedly at the regional DHL center, about 20 km away, and the other way up north, in Hamburg. I got the package that was reportedly in Hamburg the next day, and the "closer" one three days later.

I saw on the news they are having terrible weather in Spokane. They showed a street where everyone was sliding down the hill and crashing into everyone else.

So....I hope your gift doesn't contain chocolate or a llama! It may take a while!

I live next door to Spokane( ie 30 miles from Downtown)... Our weather has been tricky to drive up/down in the hills and in some neighborhoods... Another round is slated for tomarrow ...Today is lovely( but I do not drive and have bronchitis at the moment )

Seriously tho I hope it comes soon. I ordered from petsmart few days ago and the tracking was "billing info recieved" I got 2 parts of it yesterday and final 3 today. 2 went one way 3 another...go figure

I sometimes wonder about those tracking numbers. I ordered some music and wanted to check if it would get here in time for my student's next lesson. I clicked on the tracking link they gave me and discovered that the package had been delivered halfway across the country, two months before I ordered it!
