Clint Black - Till Santa's Gone (Milk and Cookies) ever since we had an awesome holiday party in 5th grade with his Christmas CD going (it was actually the year this cd came out, '95).

As to the religious songs, I like and will sing almost all of them to myself throughout the holidays

"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" preferably sung by the likes of The Robert Shaw Chorale or a boys' choir.

I don't know why, but that carol always gets to me.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
Pretty much anything by Bing Crosby. That man's voice makes me melt.

(I have to add this: least favorite is Winter Wonderland...)

Favorite Religious Christmas song: O Holy Night. A handful of singers can really nail it for me. The first one I really loved was country singer John Berry. His version is simple and so gorgeous. A few others as well...

Oh I know. The all-female singing group called Celtic Woman nailed that one recently. Oh my goodness. Very very moving.

For religious songs, I love:
O, Holy Night
Angels We Have Heard on High
Gabriel's Message--Sting does a fabulous job on this one
What Child is This

For secular songs:
Snow by Loreena McKennitt
I'll Be Home for Christmas
Happy Christmas (War is Over) by John Lennon

For secular songs - "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Judy Garland (from "Meet Me in St. Louis"). And "The Christmas Song" (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire . . .) by Mel Torme.

Do You Hear What I Hear/Little Drummer Boy
sung by Vanessa Williams in her album "Star Bright" brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it! Actually I love that entire CD.

Non-traditional Christmas music that I really love are songs from Mojo Nixon and H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society (Freddy the Red Brained Mi-Go, It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Fish-Men, and stuff like that).
