A letter from Guido

Foster kitty Guido went to his forever home last night. His new Mom, Leanne is WONDERFUL, brought us cookies and everything. For those who don't know, Guido was a surprise Christmas gift for Leanne's husband, Mike. He was wanted a kitty since their previous cat, Woody, died of old age, but Leanne wasn't ready. Now she is and wanted to surprise him. I just got this email, and am literally in happy tears...

"Hi mom
I just want you to know that I am really liking my new digs and am being treated very well. The man I was a present for thought I was a pretty neat gift. I am not expected to perform and do tricks and stuff. These guys really don't seem to mind that I am a fat,laid-back "don't bug me till I wanna be bugged" type of cat.
Thanks mom for everything that you have done for me.I am going to miss you and dad but you picked me real cool new parents and I am going to be very happy here---so don't worry o.k.
Say hi to the gang and give them the good news---

You always find the BEST adoptive parents!! What a sweet little note. So glad Guido has found a great new home.

I always stress that I REALLY need updates, just to know how my fosters are making out in their new homes. I just love them all so much, no matter how short a time they are in my life for. When I receive emails like this, it makes EVERYTHING so worth it.

Aww Kailie that is so lovely! They must be very nice people to write a note like that, and you can rest assured that Guido has found the best home.

you are the angel in this Kailie I couldn't do it but I am so thankful that some wonderful folks like you can do it.

Awwww that's so sweet that she did that for you Kailie, i can only imagine how your heart must be fit to burst when you hear their settled in their new homes, but remember it was you that made it happen
