Hi there all,
I don't know if any of you saw RubSluts'Mommys post about Jack http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=225056
but I offered to donate towards an urn for Jack. The one that Amanda likes is

http://dignifiedpetservices.com/merc...p?prod=odyssey
In slate and pewter and personalised. It comes to $100 for that, I am not sure what shipping is, can't be much. I just wondered if anyone else would like to donate? we all know how much Amanda adored Jack and she was a bit reluctant to accept this but this is not "charity" but a gift and a beautiful gift for such a precious cat.I would be happy to organise it or if someone else would then fine, I have an empty paypal account that I don't use, could use that for donations and I would allow Amanda or someone else access to this so that they can see its all above board. If anyone is interested please PM me.xx

I sent you a PM.

and i just posted in the other one about another similar urn that would come to $110 with personalization... it can have three lines... I think on the Base instead of the urn.

Well, shall we wait to see how much we get and then you can decide on which one you want? We already have $81 with mine and Natalie_ca so I think we should wait a bit. x

Thankyou everyone. I think if we close the donations on christmas eve and then I shall say what we have got and then Amanda can choose an urn and we can get it ordered.xx

I found the rescue I adopted Jack from back in 2003. He was seven months old, scrawny thing, barely at the house a few weeks. His name was Aaron at the time, but they nicknamed him Jackrabbit, becuase of his extra long back legs (and ability to spring/jump without the wiggle butt).

They are KittyCorner of CNY, Inc

If there's any left over, or if folks wish to donate in his name, donate to them or to Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, OR, where I got Portia. They're both well deserving groups.

Wow, as the money is in my paypal its in GBP which the total is....£117.31 which I have converted to...$181. That is fantastic, I shall contact Amanda and get her to choose an urn, probably won't order it till after xmas as we're all busy and it won't get to her over the holidays so if anyone else wants to donate in the meantime there is still time.
Thankyou to everyone who has donated, you are all fantastic.xxxx

Yes, I will. Now I guess it's up to me to decide what I want, huh? There should be plenty left over for donations to the two rescues...

Thank you everyone. This has certainly made my Christmas.

I have passed the money on to Amanda as I don't have a card linked to that particular paypal account and she has one so she can choose and order the urn in her own time. And we want , can't wait I am so happy that we helped and managed to raise so much, you are all wonderful people on here xx
