We got home from DH's Dad's Memorial on Friday. I was exhausted all day yesterday.
We picked up our rental car on Sat Dec 11 and drove over to Santa Barbara / Goleta. We stayed there with his Mom until Monday and drove home. I kept the car and went to work Tuesday and Wednesday. (Totally forgot about QOTD on Wednesday, sorry) We left again on Thursday to go back for his memorial of Friday. It rained the entire time! We drove home on Friday through a rain storm. If any of you know Central California, it is not fun to drive in a rain storm over the Grapevine! At least it didn't snow!
I did get to go to the Women's Fellowship Bunco Night at my church on Friday. I had to return the car on Saturday. I did not want to return that car since I absolutely loved it and the way it handled. It was a cute little Hyundai Accent. I was kinda sick all day yesterday too. I caught a cold and actually took a short nap.
The girls were happy to see us. Our friend looked in on them to scoop the box, feed them and give them treats. Of course Rusty hid the whole time she was here. She is a little scaredy cat. Dusty came out for pettings though. She is our brave one!
Well, it is good to be home. It has been a tiring week. I was supposed to have Jury Duty this next week but postponed it due the death in the family. I will have that the week of Jan 24th.
