I think I only ever re-gifted once, a few years ago. I ended up giving something to my mom because it'd suit her better. I don't often re-gift because I usually receive wonderful gifts from people. But I also think if you aren't going to use it, instead of throwing it out, give it to someone who will use it!

I think it's ok to re-gift altho as of yet I have never had to do that. I understand tho that if you get something you have no use for and you know someone else would, go for it.

There's something about regifting that makes me feel somehow ungrateful, but there have nevertheless been times that I have done it -- when a gift I have received is nice, but something I'll never in a million years use, and someone else will use it and enjoy it.

It's the practical thing to do, and much better than throwing it away or putting it in a closet and forgetting about it.

Yep I have many times. I already have a lot of stuff and I hate stuff sitting there not being used by someone so I'd rather give it to someone else or goodwill knowing that it will be used and not taking up precious space I don't have.

I have no issues with recurring, esp if it's something I can't use. If I have something somebody else might be able to use, why not let that personally enjoy it? Makes sense to me.
