We're going on holiday for two weeks during which time my friend phillippa will be cat sitting...

Does anyone have any tips on what sort of toys to leave around...
See phillippa works 9-5 and they are used to me being with them ALL day ... any ideas?

I just don't want them to get bored...

Hissy's famous "ping pong balls in a box" is a great distracter for your kitty. Leave a radio on to give tham some background noise. Make sure your friend has spent some time with your kitties so they won't see her as a stranger. Maybe a sweaty t shirt under their food dishes so they associate this scent with something good. Leave detailed directions as to where the food is and what things they like to play with. Give your friend a list of phone numbers, vet where to reach you and who caries your pets food just in case!

Thanks D'Lady, the ping pong balls in a box idea ROCKS!!!
I know at least two little furballs who are going to loose their nut over that idea.

Might even leave some in the tub for them....

You should also call your vet and tell them that your friend has permission to have your cats treated in case of an emergency.
