This is one of my former fosters, Herbie. For those who don't remember, Herbie was so massive that he couldn't even groom himself properly, couldn't clean his behind, etc.

This is him when he first came to our place:

And this is him now! His Mom, Sarah, added me to Facebook and tags me in his pictures, keeps me updated, etc. It's not a great quality picture, but look at him! He's like a brand new cat!

That boy has slimmed down. You can tell his new mom has been taking wonderful care of him.

And that is what makes me SO happy!
He really did find the perfect home, and is obviously so well cared for. He just LOOKS happier!

What a great adoption...
Herbie looks wonderful.

We often have members who are taking on the challenging task of a kitty weight loss program....
sometimes with little success.
Would it be possible to ask Herbie's Mommy how she did it?
Thanks

What a wonderful update! And, for such a wonderful cat!

I remember when you first fostered Herbie and how overweight he was. The photos don't lie -- it's obvious that he has lost a considerable amount of weight and is both healthy and happy in his new, forever home. He does look like a completely different cat and it's just amazing to see. Congratulations to you, Kailie, for finding sweet Herbie the perfect home. And, more importantly, congratulations to Herbie who now looks as happy as can be. May he have many, many more years to come of health and happiness with his new meowmy!

Successful adoptions are what it's all about. And, this is one adoption I'd grade as an A+.

Structured feeding, low calorie wet food diet.
She even has other kitties but fed them seperately.

Remarkable transformation. He is a sweetheart

Not sure hun truthfully. He was surrendered to the shelter due to a move. He lost a couple pounds while under my care, but I just can't get over how well Sarah has done with him. My jaw literally dropped when I saw his pic!
