Good Morning everyone!

Mariya (ut0pia) is in Bulgaria for the next 3 weeks, so I'll be taking over Friday's QOTD for a bit.

So......
How many Christmas cards do you send out each year (if any)?

My list seems to get longer every year. It's somewhere around 70 now. Thankfully for most of them I can just send e-cards, but that's not the same as getting an actual card in the mail. That's just so much more personal.

Yayyy thanks so much for posting for me
I just had an 8 hour flight from Atlanta to Paris, and I'm sitting here at the airport in Paris waiting for my connecting flight to Sofia and for 5 euros, I got an hour of wifi

I personally don't send christmas cards, but my mom will include my name in the cards she sends to family and family friends. She sends about 20. It's so annoying, because some of the people she sends cards to she hasn't spoken to in 10 years, but she will still send them cards, and they will send her cards back. And I think paying $10 for a card that plays music is ridiculous, but my mom always sends those I feel like you can buy the person something nicer than a card for $10..like a gift card would be so much better!

There's over 60 for me which includes neighbours, friends at home and overseas

This year was about 15, but normally I don't send them out. This year I really wanted to!

Fewer than 20--and about 15 of those are to co-workers. We get very few Christmas cards otherwise. We don't have many friends (I only have 1 real friend, and she doesn't do cards); DH has guy friends, who don't do cards.

As my "family" doesn't even speak to me any more (since Christmas 5 years ago), I get no cards from them, nor do I want any from those worthless specimens of cow dung...sorry to sound so negative, but this is a difficult week for me, with Christmas coming up, and no family to celebrate it with. Happy, happy!!!

Good morning, TigerOnTheProwl!

We send out between 60 and 70 Christmas and holiday cards....sometimes we tend to get them out between Christmas and New Year. (I did get a few mailed at the beginning of this week, but have more to do.)

I sent about 30-40 out this year....the most I've ever sent.

I started the card exchange last year, and this year it just bloomed

Aside from TCS friends, I have bout 5 others that I send to.

Being lazy (and overseas), I only send e-cards, numbering around 25-30.

Just wanted to say and I do have the same thoughts on what little extended family I have. There was some huge drama after my dad's suicide/burial service, and its been awful.... Cow dung is being nice

Thankfully my DH family is very nice..... but it still sucks with my family

If you would like, please do the Christmas card exchange if you feel comfortable and want to.....that way you have something from ppl who care.

I don't send out as many as I used too. I sent all mine out already but received one from a person I didn't send one too so I'll be sending one to her. Sometimes I just send an email to someone wishing them a happy holiday season.

This year I just sent out boxed cards except for two that I made myself with my Hallmark program. I just love that program and love playing around with it.

This year I sent out close to 30 cards. I've never sent out that many before, but I have to say that I've really enjoyed TCS's Christmas card exchange and it has been a lot of fun! I've also sent out a good bit of cards to neighbors, friends, and family members. There's really nothing better than getting a thoughtful card in the mail when you expect a bill instead!

So far only 5 because that is all I had. New ones have been ordered but have not gotten here yet.

But I don't think I will send more than 2 or 3 more.

My list is very short.

I send probably about 50 or so, but all ecards now. Between the cost of the cards and postage, and writing them, this is the only way it's actually going to happen. Same for most other cards actually. I decided several years ago that it was worth springing for a Jacquie Lawson subscription. Those cards are so neat.

I'm at 40 so far and I still missed a few because I can't find my old address list! I do this every year you know... I write them down, and then can't find them the next year and have to re-write them... But this years and last years are because of the move!
