Litter problem

I have two cats. They are both great cats but the younger one of the two is having a little trouble with the litter. First off, shes around 2 years old and still has trouble with the litter. she cant seem to bury her doo doo! She just stands in the litter box and scratches the side of it. I try to clean the litter as much as possible so that isnt a huge problem. The biggest issue is that she tracks dirty litter around and I have found it in my bed before It wasnt a disgusting amount or anything, just little pieces of litter... but its enough to worry about! After she goes number 2, I thinks what's happening is that she accidently steps in it. she isnt the smartest cat I have come across in my life, but I love her and want to fix this problem

I actually have a great picture of her!!!

Not all cats bury their poop, especially the more dominant ones. My lucky behaves just like yours - doesn't cover, and scratches the side... There is nothing much you can do about that...
About not stepping on the poop, get a bigger box, so they can move freely as they turn around in it. I have 2 Storage containers (Sterilite type) and this huge box: Petmate Giant Litterbox.
Also get a good and large litter mat, to put around the litter box to track the litter - I like this one: Cats Rule Litter Mat.
Hope it helps some!
