Well, just for one, actually. We have this toy - it's a tuft of feathers with a tiny plastic cap. My husband drilled a hole in it, and in a plastic wand. String through wand, other end through feather tuft cap and voila, we can go fishing for a kitten.

Mr. Poe is besotted with this. He leaps, twirls, bounds, and attacks. Grabs it in his mouth, jumps up onto blanket chest in a mighty bound, then off the other side. Clenched in his jaws, Mr. Poe trots across the floor with my husband in tow. If I can stop laughing long enough I'll try to take some pictures.

He's pulled two feathers out, which my husband put up on the bureau. This chest has three small setback drawers above three large drawers - maybe 54 inches tall? The feathers are no longer there. Mr. Poe can apparently get on top of my boxes of fabric, get onto the sewing table, and get onto the bureau. When he is eventully turned loose in the house nothing will be safe.

I may have to become a neat and tidy housekeeper.

Such a small catling to make such changes in my life . . . .

That's funny. They sure get carried away don't they. I have an old plastic wand from an old set of verticals with a string tied to one end. It's real light and easy to maneuver. Drives our cats crazy. It gets them to dance and walk on their hind legs. What a sight.

How about posting a picture of this toy so we can all be creative in designing our own toys for our cats?
