Spoiled Much? Bugsy loves being spoon fed ;-)

Anybody's kitty loves being spoon fed out there?
Here is the thing: Bugsy is hairy.... REALLY hairy... And he gets annoyed/distracted all the time cleaning his mane, almost to an obsessive degree... What happens is that he gets tired of eating after a while, so much cleaning he has to do.
So, I let him eat from his plate as much as he will have on his own, then I will spoon feed the rest....
Guys, I promise, I am not crazy Or am I? It is just that he gets some of is meds in his wet food, so I need to make sure he eats every bit of it... Plus after his UTI, the more wet the better!

Anyways, below is the video of him eating off of a spoon - if your kitty doesn't like wet food too much, you might try this... some kitties like it!

this reminds me of how Jake eats a banana- he likes for me to tear off little pieces of it and hand them to him right to his mouth one by one

If it gets him to eat his wet food then i can't see a problem.

When Jack was vomiting several times a week a couple of years ago i used to carry his bowl of wet food and a water bowl into the livingroom to make sure he rehydrated himself again. Mind you, once his tummy had settled down it took a while to get him to eat in the kitchen again with the girls because he was so used to Mum here running after him

He is sooo precious!! You're not going to find anybody here who thinks you're crazy for spoon feeding him!! Bugsy deserves to be spoiled! Bless his heart--he's beautiful!!!

He is the Prince and expects to be waited on accordingly!

Our Rainbow baby Banshee loved to eat from a spoon. She loved vanilla ice cream and, after I was finished, I always made sure to give her two little spoonsful. Just two. She was very dainty when she licked her spoon.

Bugsy is such a handsome boy!!

Scarlett is the queen of spoiled here. She loves Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers, but will only eat them if you put the tail between your lips and she can eat them off your face. I blame DH for starting this little trick of hers.

You certainly treat Bugsy as a king! He's lucky.

Lynxx used to eat my mother's cottage cheese from a spoon, every morning she offered it to him. Luna will eat cottage cheese from a spoon to, but not every day. Midnight can't eat anything off a spoon, because he tries to eat the spoon to.
