My Lucas has been sick:(

Hello everyone:

Lucas was sick, so I took him to the vet and he has an ear infection and what seems to be skin allergies, the vte thinks it is caused by stress. When he is stressed he gets all itchy. He is doing better, but he hates the ear drops so he is sad.

I feel guilty, it is all my fault because I recued three kittens and even though they were all in a room completely separated from my other cats, I think Lucas sensed them and got stressed. I found homes for all the kittens, but my Lucas paid the price. I feel awful by saying this, but I don't think I will be able to rescue any more kittens, it is just so sad But I have to think Of Lucas, he has Lupus and he can't be this stressed. I feel like I'm killing him. I"m a bad Mommy

What a beautiful kitty. Unfortunately, we can't save all of them, we just have to do the best we can. Your first priority has to be your own special baby. I hope there is someone else who will step in to take care of the next kittens who come along.

Awww, poor little guy... Sending some healing vibes! You're a GOOD Mommy, trying to do good things. You didn't know it would stress Lucas.

Don't beat yourself up, Lucas has to come first. You're doing the right thing.

What a poor baby!! I hope he feels better soon!! You have to put your babies first, so I think you are doing the right thing.

Thank you all. It is just painful to see how kittens suffer on the streets. But i can't let Lucas suffer, if somethings happens to him because of my actions, I won't be able to forgive myself.

You didn't know. You were doing a good thing by fostering the other cats. Now that you know, you are doing a good thing by focusing on Lucas. Any mistake you made was because you have a big heart. Be gentle with yourself.

First off, I think you are a WONDERFUL meowmy to Lucas. You were just doing a nice thing by fostering the babies and you did not know it would hurt Lucas in any way. I'm sure there are others that will be willing to foster any other kittens in your area. Btw, Lucas is one of my favorite kitties here. He is so handsome. Get well soon baby boy!
