Morning peeps!

Another cold and snowy day here today. I guess since winter is here that will be the norm...but doesn't mean I have to like it

Off to work in a bit..then at lunch time I need to go to Walmart to Christmas shop a little.

I got my hair done last night and I think it's way too short I don't even want to show my face at work.

A damp and drizzly day here, but at least it's not snow

It's my christmas party with the girlies tomorrow night, so i'll be trying some things on when i get home today, but i think i know what i'm wearing.

Ugh sniffle sniffle...cough cough....Morning everyone!

We were gone all day at a car auction yesteday in the freezing cold. Now I feel like death froze over. I am not a happy camper so I snagged the comp and Im laying in bed with Franklin while the munsters are playing in the living room.

Morning all!

Had a great night last night as we had another foster adopted! (Brulee)

Today is my aunt's birthday, so I'll head over there later on to give her the gift we got. Working from home today, and I'm going to enjoy it because the rest of the week will be taken up with billing, blah.

Morning. Not sure what it's like out today. Freezing cold I'm sure! Yesterday morning it was -35 Celsius with the windchill factored in. I think it was to be the same or colder today.

I called in sick today. My back has been bothering me off and on for the past couple of weeks, more so than usual. Today I woke up feeling sick to my stomach with a sore back, numb/tingling arms and a horrid headache. Just took something for pain and I'm on my way back to bed. If it lets up I may see if I can get in for a back massage this afternoon.

Morning!

A very cold 14 degrees outside! With snow showers and squalls. And a blustery wind. Have I mentioned that I really hate winter?!

Nothing much going on....we have to grab a few groceries tonight. And some antifreeze. Clarence overheated on Saturday when I was caught in a bit of a traffic jam. I'm thinking that maybe I need to check his antifreeze level. I hope that's all it is.

Dinner will be a chicken and pasta soup with cranberry relish and pickled cabbage. Courtesy of my wonderful MIL!

Morning all!!

A sunny but chilly day here in the frozen tundra! Doing a spot of housekeeping before work.

But I don't (again) feel 100%. A bit of a queasy stomach and just off. That and a bit of coughing and stuffy nose-will it never end!

Have to start wrapping Christmas presents tonite. Working on my Christmas countdown to do list. Have some recipes sorted and stuck a beef roast in the crockpot before going to bed. Not recommended as I work up several times during the night smelling the cooking roast! But I can shred and put in freezer for next weekend. The pork roast gets done tonite however!

Kitties are snoozing but Bakker is in the garage on the pillow I have on the bend for them-its cold out there. Bobber and Bender on sofa by me & Grizzlie by the woodstove.

Off to do more chores...........

Well, just spent two hours clearing a bit by the house - snow drifted up and over the tractor, and I HAD to get that mess out. Will have to try to find the north side of the Jeep when the blasted wind settles down. It's drifing and they say another half a foot or more snow and half an inch of rain before this mess passes. Worst is the SE wind - that makes a huge mess and I am sure by tomorrow I will have to start all over and it's going to be like breaking up concrete. I hate winter

Good afternoon.. my first full day back from my PA trip. It was nice to be back and see people, but it was COLD. I missed a 80-90 degree weekend in Long Beach. No fair!! It was in the high 70s and sunny when I got home yesterday afternoon, that was nice. But today it is cloudy, foggy, drizzly, and cool. Blah. Going to kinda be like this through the weekend I guess.

I took my business law final this morning- 92%!! So that is a huge load off. Then I went to the post office and grocery store and now I am home. I have accounting homework and studying to do before my final tomorrow night. Fun fun fun! BF left this morning for a work conference in Orlando, he gets back Thursday afternoon. So it's me and the G-cat holding down the fort. She's on my lap right now being a sweetie..

Well I better get to that homework. Have a good day everyone, stay warm!!

Good evening

It was 19ºF this morning in Charleston, SC when I left for work. Go figure, our pipes froze overnight - forgot to drip them Poor hubby got a few minutes into a shower when the water cut off. Ironically I was just mentioning the pipes freezing in the south a few days ago on here.

Only got up to around 39ºF today. But I've been enjoying it - reminds me of Jersey And keeps my hopes up for some snow this winter!

Obsessively checking for my final course grades - still only one posted

Hubby just finished making dinner Time to relax on the couch and enjoy the evening.
