Morning!

Sorry this one is a little late.

What do you want for Christmas?

My Mom asked me this a few days ago, and all I could really think of was the book Dave Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir.

Well you're not alone there. But I think we're in for another long, white winter.

Nothing really.

The standards: Peace on Earth, an end to world hunger and a long and happy life with my hubby.
Possibly enough money to buy Christmas gifts for the scads of under twelves in my family.

You should have caught some of the Black Friday sales, my DH found some huge packs of full sized containers of play dough - you could easily get something like that and break it apart for a couple cans per kid (plus cheap odds and ends like crayons and coloring books, etc)... We had buy for 6 kids.

There's not really much I want or need as far as Christmas gifts go. There's a couple shirts I'd like to order after Christmas, but shipping from Europe is high so I might pass.

I want my daily planner back. It died with my old computer and I can't get the new one to install the software.

I am lost without it.

My list is too long

But I guess the top thing on it is a new camera...
I'm probably going to get gift cards from my grandparents so hopefully one of them will be for amazon so I can buy myself a camera.

Make a thread in the tech section about, so as not to derail this one. Make sure to include what your old OS was, the name of the software with it, and what your new OS is. I, and I'm sure someone else, will do our best to help you.

I made a Christmas list on a web site I found, so I could remember things I saw and wanted
Since hubby always asks "What do you want?" This way I could keep track. I had:

Aerial hoop & rigging
Book about Dewey the library cat
eBooks gift card for my Nook
45mm X-pole Xpert (2nd pole for the house, with spin mode)
7" chrome heeled pole shoes
Diamond & white gold cat necklace from Kay's
Andes Mints

12ga Marlin goose gun bolt action shotgun (already in the mail)

I don't expect everything, because it's close to $1k
Though Rob's main gift from me is to spend the same amount he spends on me on his tool bill at work, so for all I know he got most of it. I told him they were all just suggestions, and he can always use it for help with birthday/valentines day/anniversary in Feb.

I don't want material things, all I want for Christmas is good health. When you're my age that is what mostly matters. Nothing else matters if you don't have good health, I'm sure many would agree.

I need clothes for Christmas this year. Most of my clothes are too big or too small - and since I spend allll my money on my furbabies, I can't bring myself to buy new clothes.

I don't have much of a list this year:

Alton Brown's Good Eats: The Middle Years
Stephen King's Full Dark No Stars (DH says it will be from Mollipop this year)
Catgoyle on the Loose - a Toscano sculpture
Double Trouble -a Toscano sculpture (not sure of the name)
A wallet - my old one is shot
Driving gloves - I lose them all the time

And that's pretty much it.
