Pria & the curtains!

So now all of a sudden at 10 months of age, Pria has decided that the curtains are SO much fun to climb. She'll climb up on to one of the cat towers, launch herself on to the curtains and climb up as high as she can get all the while chirping away like she's on kitty crack.

I seriously lost track of the amount of times I had to unlatch her from the curtains over the past 2 days, and this is something that just started happening. I think she's possessed!

I hope you have sturdy curtain rods!

She's really hoping for a Christmas tree, so she's practicing.

Have you tried soft paws? the covers over the cats claws? We use those. We had trouble the first time, but now they seem to be staying. It does keep them from climbing/scratching the furniture. It would keep her from climbing the curtains. My 2 haven't discovered curtains are for climbing yet so they haven't tried.

Ahhh......the "teenage years". I remember them fondly *snicker* with PJ & Punky - I didn't either any of us would survive.

"Look I can climb to new heights!". She'll outgrow it. Unfortunately your curtains may not survive.

This is why we don't have any cat towers near any windows that have curtains on them ! Too much temptation!!

Well the good news is they are cheap curtains. They're on our huge front window and the towers are there because the kitties LOVE looking out the window, watching the birds, etc. Most of them are really good, but Pria has decided she enjoys being a hellion.
