I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was contracted to make 4 Christmas stockings for family members. I got the yarn yesterday however I just realized that while the pattern I chose looks like a stocking you can put stuff in the pattern is NOT for that type of stocking. So I went on a search for another pattern and yet the same problem. The pictures looks like what I need but the pattern is not correct.
I have done a Bing search and Im not getting anything. I have checking www.crochetpatterncentral.com, www.crochetville.com (if you crochet and your not a member there I highly recommend checking it out) and also www.free-crochet.com.....I feel like Im going to either chuck the yarn onto the floor for the kitties to play with or Im going to scream!!
Does anyone have a pattern they have used before and worked out well. Im kind of being a little picky about the bottom though. I really dont like the look of the ones that have the flat bottom and look like a badly drawn boot. I prefer the ones that have the sock look to them (like the main color of would be red but the toe, heel and cuff are white).
Im going to keep searching but Id greatly appreciate if someone could help me out here. If you cant though I understand......I really should have said no when they asked at the end of Nov instead of earlier on. Its really pushing it time wise to have these done by Christmas Eve when Ive never made a stocking before!
