Okay so Nov. 1st was her 'unofficial' birthday. But around Dec. 6th two years ago my late night taxi almost squashed a small calico kittie sitting in the middle of a blind corner on a shortcut around the busiest intersection in town.

If I hadn't screamed 'koneko!' at the driver, she would've been road pizza.

Then,...

And now...

Sorry if you remember these photos. I don't have internet access at home right now (recently moved), so I can't put up new pics.

Old pictures or not, Aya is one pretty little lady! And, I, for one, can never get tired of seeing her precious face.

I love calico kitties and think that they're all so beautiful and unique. But, Aya is one of those special cats. There's something about her face and her eyes that just tug at my heart. I think she'll always be one of my favorite kitties here at TCS. There's just something spunky yet sweet about her and it's so endearing. It's no wonder that you adore her as much as you do.

Happy 2nd Gotcha Day, Aya. May you and your meowmy have many more anniversaries (and birthdays!) together in the future.

(Oh, and I don't remember seeing your baby pics -- you were, and still are, one cutie patootie!)

Thanks! I think her facial expressions are a reflection of the fact that she is 90percent torti'tude.

I'm glad you like the baby pics. I honestly thought she was on the uglier side for a kitten. she really didn't show her hidden ebauty until about 4mos. old. Of course she was sick when I found her (the URI made her look like somone had socked her in the face twice) and covered in fleas and dried blood from the fleas.

Happy Gotcha Day little sweetie, sorry I'm late. I don't come to this thread very often. I see Aya shared her Gotcha Day with my Autumn.
