I'm thinking of starting a blog, but I want to ask something

Hi guys, so I'm thinking of starting a blog, but I have some questions that I know some of you might be able to answer. I want it to be about Jake and his life, but I also want to include things I'm passionate about- such as food, fitness, and maybe even some other things like fashion..
So I'm not sure if I should have a cat blog, a food blog, a fitness blog, or if I should make one blog with different tabs, or if I should just make different entries on different topics???
What do you think?

I have a blog and I just do different topics on it. There is a way in blogger that you can do separate tabs and still have one blog, but I've not had time to sit down and figure all that out.

Well... I would do a personal blog and include everything...
Just say whatever you feel like it that day... Otherwise the other option will be having different blogs for each subject and that will be quite a bit of work.
I have a cat blog - 99% of the time, my cats talk, not me Only lately, because of Bugsy's issues, meowmy is talking, so I have 4-5 posts that are mine, and not that kitties, but that's about it. Everything else it is Bugsy, Lucky, or Hope talking...
Cat blogs are usually that way... You can google "Cat Blogosphere" and check that site out - there are hundreds of us cat bloggers out there - all of us meowmies (cat daddies too!) just lend our computers to the kitties to speak their minds - it is actually pretty entertaining
I imagine that if you go into fitness, or cooking, or anything else, it will get just as specific...
I think since you want to talk about such a diverse array of things, a personal blog will fit you better...
I would just go around and take a look at a whole bunch of personal blogs and see the ones you really like... See what you like or dislike about it, and get inspired...
I know I was probably of not much help, but anyways... Good luck, and I want to see it!

I have a blog (well a website) and have different tags I do for different subjects, so that way people can read what they want and it makes things a little easier to find! Thats what I would suggest to do!
(Its super easy to set that up on wordpress! not sure about blogger though!)

Thanks!! I signed up and quickly wrote a few things, but I'm still working on it...I didn't want to get blogger or wordpress this time, because I've tried both of those before and it was just a failure. So, I was looking at Carolina's blog and decided to try weebly- it seemed more like an actual site that you can turn into a blog which is what I like better. We will see how this works out! I have a trip to Bulgaria 10 days away so I will have lots of things to share then..

On weebly you can create a site, a blog, or a site with a blog page - this is what I have; one of my pages is a blog, but my site is actually a full one website
If you need any help setting it up, let me know - it is super easy!

I realized that- your site is soo nice and I honestly thought you'd have to know HTML really well to create a site like that!! I was amazed when I was playing around with weebly how many features there are and how you can make it pretty professional looking without knowing a whole lot about web design.
I'm really only going to keep it as a blog, but I really like that the possibility is there if I ever feel like adding more things and making it a website
