Another newbie to this site!

Hi everyone! My name is Karen and I am also a newbie member to this site. It was mentioned on another forum where I am a regular, so I thought I would check it out!
I am 27 years old and live in the Bay Area, California. More specifically, I live in Gilroy the garlic capitol! In fact, the garlic festival is going on here all weekend long!
I am the parent of 3 cats: Marius, Scooter and Sergei. Marius is my heartcat. He is an all white DSH cat with green eyes and is 6 years old. He LOVES feet and shoes! Scooter is my husband's DSH tuxie who is also 6 years old. Sergei is our newest baby and he's a DMH orange tabby who the vet guestimated to be 2 years old, but I think he's much younger than that. He's still very kittenish.

I look forward to reading about everyone's pets and getting to know you all!

Welcome to the site Karen! What beautiful kitties you have! Sergie looks a lot like Sue's (Mom of 10 cats) Tillie. They could be mother and son, and both are so pretty.

Enjoy your time here. We do have a lot of fun, and it is quite addicting.

Wow! That's quite a brood you have there Sue! How wonderful! I work in a shelter locally as a volunteer, and I can tell you that it's so hard not to bring more cats home! I have been so drawn to the grey kitties at the shelter lately. I swear I will have one sooner or later, but I always have the husband factor to consider. He keeps me in check, because knowing my weakness for cats, I would have had a houseful by now if I didn't have a husband! LOL

:flash: Welcome to the Cat Site! :flash: I'm in the Bay Area as well! I would love to attend the garlic festival, but it's too darn hot over there! Can't they hold it in December or something? LOL!
