Oh.. there is is.

Whoa.

So is it safe to assume you're not driving anytime soon?

The year I live up in Michigan's UP we had snow like that. It got a nice crust on the top that would fool you into thinking you could walk on it. You'd go a ways and just when you let your guard down, promptly sink into your thighs (or waist if you were shorter).

oh I did not need to see that!!!!

I don't drive, fortunately.

But yeah.. this is my friends car.. and his work truck beside it. Lol. My brother walked to the store in it and said it comes up to his knees. And he's almost 6 foot lol.

Wow! I'll take some off your hands

No, no, no, no, no! All too soon that will be what it's like in my neck of the woods, too. In fact, it's snowing now and we're already covered in white stuff. I am not amused.

We've had that mess here for weeks now...but I kinda figured there was a bad dump since Western Fair cancelled races today.
Welp---it is getting a wee bit ridiculous isn't it?

So far we are having about 30" on the ground with about 24" more coming by tomorrow morning

And I just got in to have my cup of hot cocoa after plowing out the driveway for the third time today---with a 1957 Dodge Power Wagon---I'm going to be using the old front end loader tomorrow---grrrrr

Yep, I don't miss the 50 cm snowfalls from when I lived in London

Yeah, the picture was taken in London on Bradley by Adelaid. We don't have that much snow yet here in St Thomas.
WOW! That's already a bunch of snow! Please keep it, but I like looking at it.

I was going to make another thread but since this is about snow...we have a bunch here in NE Ohio.

I have to knock that down but needed to get a pic of it first.

I haven't even looked outside since like 5:30. I'm afraid to.

Yup I'm just outside of London, and we tend to get more I have some pics to post at some point.

Thankfully we have a garage and use it, so no snow piles on the vehicles

I am so glad we don't have snow like that here. I don't live that far from London (about an hour) and we have maybe an inch of snow.

I found a small story on Standardbred Canada about the snow in London. No races there today either. http://standardbredcanada.ca/notices...o-tuesday.html

Yikes! We got lucky today - the precipitation changed to rain, so we've mainly got a lot of slush right now (and flood warnings). It's supposed to get cold again tomorrow night, though, and the forecast is for more snow.

A shot of the same thing but from this morning.

Yep! That's a lot of snow. More than we have here right now by the looks of things. We've had 3 major storms come through within the last 2 weeks or so. Now we have a 3rd one coming from the south west....likely Montana. That means another large dump on us.

Hope it doesn't come your way! I think you guys have more than enough!

I am in Kent, just a stone's throw from you!!

I heard we had 22" fall but 11 on the ground.

The snow gods are with me. I asked for Tuesday and Wednesday off work for the WoW expansion months ago. I did have to venture out this morning and some roads were still really poopy.

Have you guys dug yourselves out yet? I saw the news the other day when it was still snowing, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing! You guys were seriously hit hard. The news report at that time said 120 cm, that's 48 inches!!!

Schools n such were closed yesterday (3 days in a row) from what I've read mostly to allow for clean up...the plows just couldn't keep up so some of the side streets weren't completed till some point yesterday.

My kids sure were glad to go back to school today

There's been some nice articles being posted about kindness of neighbours and such, that actually restore my faith in mankind, even if just for a moment.

It's nice to look out the window and not see snow flying LOL
