Morning.

Its crazy windy cold outside but we are supposed to get a little snow today. Big woo hoo that its not a lot because then Im not required to go outside in it, I can sit inside and be warm and look at how pretty it is.

Im gonna try and get some more yarn depleted out of my stash so that way at some point in time Ill be allowed back into Michaels to browse their clearance sales and stock back up. Please pass motivation my way if you can, Im fighting with two skeins of Fishermans Wool that I just dont know what to do with, so far Ive frogged about 3 different projects that didnt suit me.

Have a good day everyone!

Good morning

26ºF here this morning in South Carolina. Where is my precipitation so I can get some snow?! Supposed to only get into the mid-40s today and tomorrow, with a low of 20ºF tonight. I guess I'm getting my winter-temp wish, now I just need my winter-precipitation wish to come true It might not be so far fetched this year.

Off to work shortly, only have a 4 day week (4 day weeks for the rest of the month ), hopefully it goes by quickly but I'm nervous about Friday.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all!

It's a VERY windy rainy mess here today, but it's mild temp wise, so I don't really care.

We dropped foster Guido off to be neutered this morning! As most of you know, he's already been adopted but isn't going home until Christmas week. He's got a set of the biggest kahunas I have EVER seen, so he might be a little sore tonight. We can pick him up after work.

Nothing on the agenda for this evening. Take care all!

Morning!

Very windy here this morning...we're around 28 degrees. I have to go out to a poultry farm to take pictures of a stormwater facility and the trash racks for my files. That way I can release the farmer's letter of credit and he'll get his money back. It's going to be cold walking around on that farm this morning!

DH and I are doing some shopping tonight after work. My mom asked me to look for an electric frying pan as her old one bit the dust on Saturday. Mollipop needs a Christmas stocking. And I want to get some Christmas-sy for our bathroom; all we have in there is a Snoopy bubble light night light.

Have a good Monday! Don't work too hard!

Morning All!

Its a chilly one here as well high's all week in the lower 20's and low's in the single digits.
Wind chill a factor too.

Leaving for a metting in a few minutes, work, shopping and then home.

Still have the cold thing going on-maybe walking pneumonia I'm not sure but if it doesn't clear by end of week I'll head to doctor.

Have a good day!!

Good afternoon! Temperatures are hovering around freezing today, which is a big improvement over last week, but it has been snowing all day and everything is a slushy mess. You more or less have to shuffle to walk down the street. I really hope it doesn't freeze solid over night, because I have a class taking a test at 8:15 a.m. tomorrow and it really can't be postponed without messing up the class's test schedule.

it's a balmy -22°C here, doesn't appear windy and the weather liar says the temp is going to zoom all the way to -17 by noon. Guess I better move snow again before it starts snowing again on Wednesday.........is winter over yet??

Morning.. Nice and sunny here this morning, though it rained pretty much all last night since about 5PM or so. Crazy! I didn't even know we were supposed to get rain! It's funny how rain in SoCal is such a big deal, like snow is a big deal in other places.. I do get excited when it rains though, since it doesn't rain often. Well, except for this fall it's rained more than the past 3 years I've been here I think!

ANYWAY... my agenda for today is to get my accounting group project stuff done, and do some accounting homework. And write xmas cards since I didn't do that this weekend like I wanted to. Oh, and wrap presents so I know what I actually have for whom. Our tangerines are turning ripe finally, so I am going to pick a bunch and bring them when I go home to PA to visit in a few days. My mom has been bugging me for oranges and tangerines.. well oranges aren't ready yet, but she can have tangerines.

Gail- Feel better SOON! And get to a doctor if you need to!

Kailie- good luck to Mr. Guido!

Everyone- try to stay warm!!

Very windy and cold today. Spent the day with my sister, went to Walmart and it wasn't crowded at all. That's why I shop during the week, weekends are a killer with mobs of people all over the place. Then we went out for lunch while looking at all the snow flurries flying around. It looked so pretty. I bought Autumn a few new toys to celebrate her Gotcha Day today too. Glad to be back at home tho, the BF is bringing a pizza for our dinner tonight, sounds good to me

Hi all
Wow its been mad here, we had snow last week, 30cm and then it started to melt and now we have the big freeze and everything is frozen, the roads and pavements are like one big ice rink. Schools were shut for my kids last week, was open today, took them and wish I had never, the kids were all crying, my son fell over and I nearly went over 3 times. Theres been so many accidents its unbeliaveable. Lots of fatalities in the news and a friend of mine and dh's got killed on friday in a tragic car accident, he was only 30, married only 3 years and his wife is pregnant. I have been in shock. I just cannot believe that the weather is so bad, I am not taking my kids to school tomorrow, its not worth the risk, it took me 35 minutes to do a normal 10 minute walk to school. This is set to last another week or so and they have now forecast more snow. Its -12 tonight.
On a lighter note my son is 5 today so "Happy birthday Brandon" and my daughter is performing at the Derby Cathedral tomorrow night in the school choir which will be lovely, I will try and take a video/pics if you're allowed.
Everyone who has severe weather at the minute-stay safe.xxxx
