Found bald spot on cat..skin bluish color

Today I was petting my cat, Moloki and noticed he had a bald spot where all the fur was gone. The patch is slightly larger than the size of a quarter. I also noticed the skin was a blue/gray color. Im not sure if this is just the normal color of his skin under all his fur or not. It almost resembles a bruise on a human but more blue than that. I wonder if I should be concerned! Anyone ever had this happen to their cat? Ive only had him for about a month now and when I first got him home, he had a full checkup at the vet and other than some ticks, he was healthy. I didnt notice this spot until just today. Just curious what it should be and if I should be worried.

Hmm, does your cat go outside at all? Maybe some type of injury...
If your cat is strictly indoors, maybe a trip to the vet would be a good idea. I can't say I've ever heard of or seen this myself. Better to be safe than sorry. Hope your kitty is ok!

That could be from overgrooming. Does your cat groom a lot, particularly in that area?
