We live in a rural area and care for a colony. We have
Mommy (spayed now) - her kittens were taken into the foster network and adopted out.
Stray - turned out she was already spayed, but she acts more feral than all of them.
"Son of Charlie" (neutered) We think our Chumley might have been his dad, before we got Chum (renamed from Charlie) neutered - and now living inside full time with us.
"Cousin of Charlie" (neutered) - similar tabby markings, but showed up around the same time as Chumley and seems to be the same age. Maybe a brother though.
Baby (neutered) - the cutest little gray tabby - all filled out nicely for Winter.
Orange & White Boy (neutered)
We thought there were two that showed up in the past week that needed trapping - so far I'm calling them The Two Tabbies (both gray/white tabbies - appear to have been born earlier this year). ...but today two more newbies showed up at the feeder. The most GORGEOUS little black kitty, and a large buff kitty that I assume is a boy, because he looks like he's been around the block a few times and his ears are pretty ragged.
So... six already fixed, and within the past week, another four that need to be trapped and fixed.

This year, we removed... seven that the foster network were able to take and get adopted out.

(They don't have resources to socialize ferals - have to be strays or kittens).
We stopped naming the ferals. We'd hoped it would help us get less attached and worry about them less. It doesn't seem to be working.
