Morning folks!

It's a little cooler today but sunny which will be nice. It has been raining for days here.

A friend of mine passed away yesterday, she had breast cancer. She was 31 and left behind two small children and a husband. I can't stop thinking about her and about how blessed I am to get to sleep beside my healthy hubby every night. May she RIP and be free of pain now.

Off to work soon..need to bake 60 cookies tonight, and pack up my SS gift. Eeep!

Morning everyone.

Bf finally got to go to work today. I keep waiting for him to call and say they are closed again. Grrrrrr. Lots of roads closed and flooding in our area but thankfully we arent in a flood zone though our pond looks like if we got any more rain it would have started to flood. Anyhoo just another day around the house lotsa cleaning today to make up for not being home the last few days.

Hi all....just came back in the house after putting up all our bird feeders. The night before last, a raccoon ripped everything down. So we brought all the feeders in the garage last night. Gotta find a way to out wit those rascals!

There is lake effect snow off Lake Erie south of us. Hundreds of trucks and cars are stranded on the thruway. Some for 12 hours and more. Its a complete mess.

Up here, just some left over snow on the ground, about 3 inches. Thanks goodness we live up north of the snow belt. They will get about 3 feet by the time it's all over.

It's a very chilly and breezy morning here. About 30 degrees. We had flurries off and on all night long.

DH is having a cat scan this afternoon as he's starting to have some very bad headaches. He bowls late, so I don't have to rush around with dinner.

Didn't get to exercise last night, so that's on my agenda for tonight.

Natalie, I'm so sorry hun...

Morning friends!

We're having a big craft sale here at work, so I brought some of my handmade earrings to sell to raise money for the fosters. The sale doesn't even start for another hour but I've already made $42 thanks to the girls on my team.

Tonight we have a Cat Rescue Maritimes meeting. We're all being trained in giving vaccinations, as we now have our own supply in the organization which is SO convenient.

Morning..

Sunny and going into the 70s again today I think. Nice! I have to still finish my law paper to turn in tomorrow morning. And I have to go do my site inspection.

Tonight is Hopheads night, at a brewpub that's easy to get to by bus, but I think I'll still be working on that paper, so I'll probably skip out. I should save up my beer drinking energy for tomorrow anyway, we're going to the Strong Ale Fest in Carlsbad tomorrow! That's a fun fest.
