A professional Litter Box Scooping Service! The lady claims she scoops 60 boxes a day for people.

She says she makes good money she charges $5.00 a box per day.

At 60 boxes a day for $5, that makes $300 a day, if she works 7 days a week, thats $2100 a week.
Holy crap, I wouldnt mind doing that for that kind of money!

Actually it's a decent idea. She furnishes the litter, does all the waste removal, scrubbing etc. That's all she does.

Actually, I'd pay. It's the one thing I hate the most about inside kitties.

Also--it'd be a great service for pregnant women.

However if she is traveling to 60 houses a day, I can't even imagine how much she spends on gas daily! I work for a pet sitting agency, and on average I do around 4 pet sits a day and I spend an average of $7 on gas daily. Over the holidays when I have more pet sits I can spend up to $12 a day and I'm not doing anywere near 60 (that actually wouldn't be possible for me since I stay at the house a minimum of 30 minutes). Plus on top of that there is the cost of litter. But it still is a pretty good amount of money.

But what would you call a company that does this? Litter-ally Out There?

(Oh and keep it clean folks if you come up with a title for such a dirty business)

A truly enterprising soul! Don't most of us shovel poop in some form or another at work anyways?

I can't believe anyone would pay $150/month to have their litterbox scooped out -- does that seem realistic????????

It doesn't really seem realistic to me. Most of the clients that I pet sit for are wealthy and I can't picture them paying to have someone scoop out their litterbox. Most of them do have littermaids and other self cleaning litterboxes.

I have a Litter-Robot that scoops my box for my three fur kids. But for $5.00 a box.....I guess that I would just put a clothes pin on my nose and look silly while I do the customers cat boxes.
I think you would kinda get used to it after awhile...LOL!
