Friskies Dental Diet...

Thread Starter
So, this has been discontinued. I have found a few places to stock up on it. Has anyone come upon a dry food with similar size and taste ? Fish and poultry if I remember correctly. One of our gang is and has been nutso over it for many years. I'm hoping to find something similar that he'll eat.
Thanks for any input.

Science diet does a dental, so does royal canin. Mainly bigger chunks is reason, not sure of any flavors but maybe worth a shot

oh ok. I fed it after the Iams first 3 cats/kittens started on, in late 90's for a while then went off to other brands. Only used the Reg Nutro tho.

And have yet to get any Natural Choice on clearance just yet

Ewemule were you able to try any new foods?

If your cat is not in final stages, this is not want you want to do. You do not want to put your cat on the
Vets low protein diet. There are simply so many better options out there than to hand the poor cat a low amount of poor quality protein - which often results in a poor appetite and muscle wasting since the body is now robbing its own muscle mass to feed itself a decent quality and amount of protein.
. There are new thoughts on this and the thinking is it is not the amount of protein but the quality of protein that matters.
You did not actually give a link of any kind.... Staying on the actual thread topic may benefit the OP

Nutro has this new Rewards program they started. If you sign up online they will send you newsletters, emails about new things going on etc. They also send a $10.00 coupon when you sign up. Just a thought if you were looking to try it again. They are actually doing a packaging change on the Natural Choice line too so you might find some of the old packaging on sale depending on where you live. They put extra coupons on the bags to sell them faster to make way for the new packaging.

Good luck in whatever you decided to use.

We've got about 8 pounds of Dental Diet left. I will be looking into the suggested foods next time I'm in town.
Going to check the Nutro website now.
Thank You !

I'm so sorry to hear this... :[

As for the food, a shelter or rescue would greatly appreciate it.
